We support children to communicate in the way that works best for them. This may include spoken words, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), Key Word Sign, or other non-verbal ways of communicating.

We also work closely with families, helping them understand and respond to their child’s communication style. Together, we find ways to make communication easier and more meaningful in everyday life.

When needed, we offer language assessments, including assessments for Spanish-speaking children. We can also support families to explore and trial AAC systems and communication devices to find the best fit for their child.

We can offer informal articulation screeners to identify pronunciation difficulties. We help children with articulation and phonological awareness during our sessions, as well as offering coaching to their carers to support these skills at home in between sessions. We also offer screenings and assessments for Spanish-speaking children to help ensure their communication skills are understood in the context of both languages.

We take a responsive feeding approach to help children feel confident exploring new foods while making mealtimes a positive experience. We work closely with families, providing guidance and strategies to create a supportive and stress-free eating environment. By focusing on each child's unique needs, we help build trust and enjoyment around food.
